About us

Mokoro Images are Glenn Palmer (born in Scotland in 1973) and Marilyn Palmer-Firth (born in England in 1966). Having been based in London for many years, they now call Adelaide, Australia home.
Mokoro, a type of canoe which is commonly used in Botswana's Okavango Delta, captures two of their passions – travel and Africa.
Drawn to urban landscapes, nature, cultural symbols and architecture, Mokoro are continuously searching for new subjects and situations to capture on camera. Using a digital SLR, 35mm and 300mm lens, they have worked in Europe, the USA and southern Africa, preferring to capture images in natural light.
“... you really do see the world in a different way when you have a camera in your hand.”
